Phillip Williams BVSc MRCVS

Phillip Williams was originally a director of Carmarthen Veterinary Centre having been principal of Fairlane Veterinary Centre previously. Since November 2012 Phillips has "retired" from this role and now helps us out with TB testing and farm clients.  He qualified from Liverpool Vet School on the 10th July 1975, and subsequently started work with Bill Allen in Whitland. In 1977 he moved to Carmarthen, working for Arthur Harris in Barn Road until 1982 when he took over the practice. Fairlane Veterinary Centre was built in 1983. As well as still being a hands-on farm vet, Phillip has a secondary job as our resident “fixer” – no job too big or small! He can often be found with his head under a sink or a screwdriver in his hand.

Phillips favourite part of the job is seeing satisfied clients, and working with the “loyal hard-working team of staff at CVC”. But only when we are smiling! Interests in woodwork, gardening, walking and music keep him busy outside of work, when not spending time with his family.
