Alison Jayne Williams (Head Nurse)

Bsc (HONS), RVN, A1 (C.C)

Alison started off her veterinary nursing career as a receptionist and kennel assistant in Fairlane back in 2002.She then went on to qualify from Harper Adams University College in 2008, where she completed a degree in veterinary nursing and practice management.

She enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing with a particular interest in Anaesthesia, surgery and critical care. Alison is keenly involved with nurse clinics and is also a clinical coach training student nurses within the practice.  Alison is always keen to improve her knowledge as a veterinary nurse to benefit both herself and the animals treated at the practice and has recently completed a qualification in critical care.

Her son Bobby keeps her busy outside of work, although her other passions include lots of walks (being dragged) with her Staffordshire Bull Terrier Zeta, cuddles with her ‘rather portly’ cat Tessie, Clay Pigeon Shooting (badly) and generally socialising with friends and family.
