We have in house flock and herd health plans that have been put together to meet farm assurance scheme requirements. The aim of a health plan is to establish the health status and productivity of the flock/herd and put measures in place to improve it.
Setting aside an hour to review flock management can be extremely valuable and will hopefully save money in the long term and help improve production. They are also an opportunity to discuss routine treatments, such as vaccinations and worming and review protocols to ensure you have up to date advice on routine prevention.
