The ‘on the road’ service is celebrating its first birthday as well as celebrating the success of bringing veterinary services closer to clients and their much loved pets in rural Wales. Operating six days a week across locations from Llansteffan Beach to Carway, the MiMobileVet veterinary team are welcoming, extremely knowledgeable and are partners in your pet’s preventative healthcare.
The MiMobileVet service prides itself on being friendly, caring and professional. The team want to make treating your pet easier for everyone; bringing the vet to you so that your pet can have a shorter journey and for clients who find it hard to visit the Hospital.
Clients can also pick up their pets medicines from the team. Practice Director, Laura Nicholas, said “clients Ruth and Alan Williams have told us that their dog Jess always seems more at ease as it saves her the stress of the car journey to the main Carmarthen site, making it better for everyone all round, after all, a content pet makes for a content owner”.
The mobile service also makes a huge difference for owner Julie Dobney and her dog Kaycee as they need to organise special transport to be able to attend the Hospital in Carmarthen. The MiMobileVet service allows for Kaycee to be treated more conveniently at the local Kidwelly site at Parc Stephens. Julie has told Laura that the service has helped ‘improve the health and welfare of Kaycee’ due to the convenience of the service.
Laura said that “these endorsements make the team very happy and confirm why they go the extra mile for their clients”. “Without doubt, the MiMobilVet service provides convenience for all clients particularly elderly pet owners who, for whatever reason, don’t drive and have to use public transport, so why not treat your pet with MiMobileVet”.
The MiMobileVet service looks forward to welcoming all pets at the different locations from Monday to Saturday, see the website and Facebook page for up to date information on times and locations or call the practice team on 01267 220404.
