Mandy Price
Head Receptionist and G-SQP
Mandy originally started work in Ark Vets in 2001, after completing a BTEC in small animal care at Pibwrlwyd College in 1999. She then joined Carmarthan and has been with us ever since, becoming a much valued member of the reception team, particularly on the large animal desk. Mandy has recently gained an SQP qualification and can advise on suitable medication for both equine and farm animals. Outside of work, Mandy enjoys swimming and looking after her daughter and son.

Erica Dorans
Receptionist
Erica joined Carmarthen Veterinary Centre in October 2015. When not at work Erica enjoys life on her smallholding with her husband, two dogs, three cats, sheep, chickens, ducks and a poly-tunnel to be busy in when it rains! If not at home Erica will probably be found visiting her family or walking the coast path, hills and beaches with her dogs Jess and Jenny. At work Erica enjoys being part of the team and meeting new and regular pets and their owners as well as helping farm clients with routine and emergency requests.

Rosemary Harris
Receptionist
Rosemary joined us in 2019. Her interest and passion for animal care began at young age. This interest was then pursued by studying animal care and animal management in college, which led to a job in Pets At Home, where she was stationed for just under two years, and then also a job in Vets4Pets as a receptionist, before receiving an opportunity to work at the Carmarthen Veterinary Centre. When she's not working, she is busy wrangling her nine dogs and (trying) to keep them in line. She enjoys settling down with a good book, or binge-watching a box-set on the television.

Diane Lewis
Receptionist and Pet Bereavement Advisor
Diane has been working for us since 1990, when she started as a receptionist at Ark Vets. Many people may recognise her voice as she regularly takes the phones out of hours. Diane enjoys seeing old clients, as well as getting know new ones. She loves meeting all the pets and says she even enjoys working with all of us! When she finally gets home, Diane is no less busy, enjoying reading, watching rugby, and baking cupcakes… when she’s not chauffeuring her children! Diane has completed her Blue Cross bereavement training and is the practice bereavement councillor.

Anna-Marie Mainwaring
Receptionist
Anna loves meeting the animals and their owners here at Carmarthen Veterinary Centre and has a particular soft spot for the rescues. When she's not on reception she'll be upstairs working in our accounts office. Anna graduated in graphic design and in her free time loves making use of these skills. She is currently experimenting with digital portraiture. Anna loves cooking and spicy food but hasn't mastered making a curry as good as the local take away yet!

Andrea Thompson
Receptionist
Andrea the reception team in 2019, having previously worked for 23 years for a local farm animal company. Andrea works on both the small and large animal desks but has a keen interest in farm animals, particularly cows. I'm her spare time she enjoys running, walking her two active dogs and acting as a chauffeur for her three children
