Andrea the reception team in 2019, having previously worked for 23 years for a local farm animal company. Andrea works on both the small and large animal desks but has a keen interest in farm animals, particularly cows. I'm her spare time she enjoys running, walking her two active dogs and acting as a chauffeur for her three children
Erica Dorans
Receptionist
Erica joined Carmarthen Veterinary Centre in October 2015. When not at work Erica enjoys life on her smallholding with her husband, two dogs, three cats, sheep, chickens, ducks and a poly-tunnel to be busy in when it rains! If not at home Erica will probably be found visiting her family or walking the coast path, hills and beaches with her dogs Jess and Jenny. At work Erica enjoys being part of the team and meeting new and regular pets and their owners as well as helping farm clients with routine and emergency requests.
Diane Lewis
Receptionist and Pet Bereavement Advisor
Diane has been working for us since 1990, when she started as a receptionist at Ark Vets. Many people may recognise her voice as she regularly takes the phones out of hours. Diane enjoys seeing old clients, as well as getting know new ones. She loves meeting all the pets and says she even enjoys working with all of us! When she finally gets home, Diane is no less busy, enjoying reading, watching rugby, and baking cupcakes… when she’s not chauffeuring her children! Diane has completed her Blue Cross bereavement training and is the practice bereavement councillor.
Anna-Marie Mainwaring
Receptionist
Anna loves meeting the animals and their owners here at Carmarthen Veterinary Centre and has a particular soft spot for the rescues. When she's not on reception she'll be upstairs working in our accounts office. Anna graduated in graphic design and in her free time loves making use of these skills. She is currently experimenting with digital portraiture. Anna loves cooking and spicy food but hasn't mastered making a curry as good as the local take away yet!
Alan Munday
Receptionist
Alan joined Carmarthen Veterinary Centre in June 2021. Alan really enjoys being a part of the team and building great relationships with new and existing clients and their pets. He moved to Carmarthenshire to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and bought a small holding with his partner.
When not at work Alan loves to spend time at home with his partner, family, friends and their two Labradors Sheldon and Sia, not forgetting their Sheep, chickens, alpacas and pygmy goats.

Julie Kirk
Administrator & Pharmacist
Julie moved to South Wales in 2022 from Nottinghamshire and joined CVS, in May 2022 she came to work at Carmarthen veterinary centre. Before her move to wales she worked in children's social care for 20 years. She enjoys working in pharmacy and meeting the clients and their pets.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family on their small holding, walking her dog copper and caring for the family horses Molly, Betty, Frank and Oz.
